TOGETHER, 2024
Minnesota Museum of American Art, March 28-May 26, 2024
Together is a mixed media art exhibition featuring artwork from 10 Minnesota artist families of diverse ages and family structures who have created individual and communal work for the exhibition. Artists Emmett and Kit Ramstad conceived this project to elevate children’s artwork and provide a space for parent artists to support each other as they fulfill the roles of parents and artists while raising a new generation of makers. Supported by The Minnesota State Arts Board and The Minnesota Museum of American Art, Together uplifts mixed generational creativity by showcasing artists who have contributed hugely to Minnesota’s artistic community and their children who are integral influences to their practice. Community programming will include activities for all ages.

Emmett Ramstad is a fiscal year 2023 recipient of a Creative Support for Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
