SIZE NEVER MATTERED/SIZE ALWAYS MATTERS, co-curator, 2009
Million Fishes Gallery, San Francisco, California.
Combining a variety of media including photography, painting, sculpture, drawing and performance, the artists in "Size never mattered / size always matters" explore scale and its relation to proximity and distance. Through manipulation of rendering and language "Size never mattered / size always matters" positions the viewer in the midst of an imaginative queer world where conceptions of size and importance are irreconcilable.
Collaboratively curated by artists: Emmett Ramstad, Ace Lehner, Crow Cianciola, Dallas Kavanagh, Micah Bazant, James Giotta, Torreya Cummings and Qilo Matzen
